What is a DYNO
A dynamometer (dyno) is a precision measurement tool used to record your vehicle’s torque, horsepower, and engine performance in real time. By analysing torque and rotational speed, our dyno provides highly accurate wheel horsepower (WHP) and kilowatt (kW) readings, essential for evaluating true performance gains during tuning.
Our dyno also measures drivetrain losses, enabling precise calculation of crank horsepower (BHP). This level of accuracy is crucial when tuning high-performance and exotic vehicles such as Lamborghinis, Porsches, Ferraris, and other supercars, where every detail matters.
Whether you drive a petrol or diesel vehicle, dyno testing allows us to fine-tune power delivery, improve engine efficiency, and ensure your setup is performing safely and consistently. The result is maximised performance, sharper throttle response, and smoother, more controlled driving — both on the road and on the track.
Our In-House Dyno
Our in-house dyno is the advanced Dyno Developments 2WD system, capable of testing vehicles up to 1200HP. Our brand-new dyno cell features a fresh air feed and extraction system, ensuring accurate, consistent, and safe measurements for all engine types. We are committed to delivering the most precise power and torque readings possible for every vehicle.
This eddy brake dyno allows us to monitor all essential engine parameters during testing. This means we can perform live engine tuning and mapping, as well as safety and reliability testing on every tune to ensure your engine performs at its absolute best.
